TYPES OF KIT - listed by wall and floor type
1. Concrete floors - must be flat - Slimline for direct carpeting or boarding on smooth concrete or screed - 2mm thick - click
2. Concrete, sand 'blinded' hardcore or compacted earth floors - concrete, screed or board directly onto the membrane - 8mm thick - click
3. Brick walls, block walls and drillable stone walls - plaster directly on the membrane - 8mm thick membrane - click
4. Brick walls and uniform block or drillable stone walls - must be flat - fix plasterboard directly to the membrane with 'dabs' of adhesive - 8mm thick membrane - click
5. Brick walls, block walls and drillable stone walls - plaster directly on the membrane - 3mm thick membrane - click
6. Brick walls and uniform block or drillable stone walls - must be flat - fix plasterboard directly to the membrane with 'dabs' of adhesive - 3mm thick membrane - click
7. Brick walls and uniform block or drillable stone walls - must be flat - fix plasterboard onto wooden battens screwed to the hollow plug heads - 8mm thick membrane - click - or for rough walls use without plugs and battens, fixing via an inner stud frame.
(Note - with Type 7 Kits you can easily fit low cost insulation between the battens, before fixing your boards, for even greater warmth)
1. For flooring - direct lay to smooth, flat concrete or screed - Slimline Floorseal Membrane (only 2mm thick)
Kit Specification - roll width 1metre, includes single sided fibre faced jointing tape, for butt joints, to leave ultra smooth joins for direct carpeting if desired.

Kits include tape for butt jointing. Allow in your area calculation for a turn up around the walls, to protect your flooring material edge from wall contact. You can either lay timber boarding panels first, or just underlay (thick felt type recommended) and then carpet directly to the membrane.

Use standard 9mm or 12.5mm plasterboard, then a skim finish - adds a minimum of 15mm to the thickness of the membrane, plus the wooden batten - the battens should equal your insulation thickness - say 1 inch (25mm) - they screw onto the hollow plug heads.
